Tickets, Pricing & Registration
What is included in the ticket price?
The ticket includes your participation fee, access to the cultural programme, school visits, lunches on all three days, and the dinner and party on Wednesday night.
Are there any discounts available?
Yes, discounts are available. If you are a EuroClio member, student, or retiree, reach out for a discount code. Accepted workshop facilitators will receive a discount code. Additionally, if you buy your ticket before December 1st, you get the ticket at the Early Bird price.
Can I get a discount if I am hosting a workshop at the Conference?
Yes, you will receive a discount if you are accepted to host. This price is fixed at 320€, regardless of when you purchase the ticket.
What if I missed the Early Bird discount?
Due to the setup of this Eventbrite page, we cannot apply the Early Bird discount after the promotion has ended. If you are eligible for any additional discount codes, be sure to get them (by reaching out to us) as soon as possible to avoid paying more!
Are discounts stackable?
Membership, student/retiree and workshop discounts are not stackable. You can receive only one of those.
What is the cancellation and refund policy?
You can cancel your participation before March 27th, 2026, and receive a refund. After that date, cancellations are not generally accepted, except for tragic or disastrous events. Please note that Eventbrite's fee is included in the ticket price and that amount is nonrefundable.
Can I transfer my ticket to someone else if I am unable to attend?
Yes, you can generally transfer your ticket to another person, but you will always have to inform us in advance. However, this is only possible if you do not benefit from any discount(s).
Is it possible to get one-day tickets?
No, due to security measures at the venue, we are offering only full-event tickets.

Programme, Workshops & Participation
Will there be a programme for early arrivals?
Yes, as usual, we plan a limited programme for people arriving early on 26 April 2026 (Sunday). We will announce details as they become available.
Will there be virtual attendance options available?
Currently, we are not planning this option, some recap videos will be made available after the conference.
Can I receive a certificate of attendance or professional development credits?
Yes, you can receive a certificate of attendance after the Conference. However, currently, we do not offer professional development credits.
How can I host a workshop at the Conference?
Workshop proposals are now closed. Please follow EuroClio’s website for open workshop calls for next year! We usually do such announcements in late summer.
Where can I find more information about the programme?
The programme, together with further details on the venue, will be available via the event website (to be launched in the coming months).
What should I bring with me to the conference?
We recommend bringing promotional materials for the work you wish to share.

How can I become a EuroClio member?
We offer opportunities to those organisations, associations, and individuals who wish to influence education reform processes and collaborate with cross-border networks. Therefore, if you want to become one of our members, you can find more information at: https://euroclio.eu/association/members/
What is the primary language of the conference?
Since our community includes professionals from all over the world, our Annual Conference will be held entirely in English.
Is the conference only suitable for professional educators?
Our Annual Conference is not only intended for professional educators. Students or anyone interested in our work, history, civics, or education in general are welcome to join us. Every year, we have people from various fields joining our community.
Networking, Social Events & Meals
Are meals provided during the conference?
Yes, we provide lunches during all three days.. These meals are included in the ticket price.
Will there be networking events or social activities?
Yes, we will host networking events, such as the Thematic Dinner and the Happy Hour.
Travel, Venue & Safety
What security measures will be in place at the venue?
Since our main venue will be at the European Parliament, please expect security screening every time you wish to enter the building. Given that there will be plenty of us participating, count on the extra time you will need to enter and arrive well in advance of the programme you wish to attend.

How can I get to Brussels and around?
We aim to organise all venues related to the event within walking distance of Leopoldpark. Brussels has good local commute options and is a walkable city.
